23 November 2009: 2010 begins

Sadly the break is over and it is time to get started on 2010. Actually that is a lie - it is not sad at all - my break from training was great (and hugely needed) but I have to say the novelty of inactivity and frequenting coffee shops and restaurants too much has worn thin and I am ready to get going again, albeit slowly at first. First up was a run this morning - hard to beat beside the beach and along the headlands.......I have also started planning out 2010 races - a job that seems to get more and more difficult every year as the number of races and opportunities continues to expand and the season stretches longer and longer.
