Well maybe I wasn't as smart as I thought....I did have a day completely off and then feeling better started training again. I got two days in felling pretty good - nothing too strenuous but enough to be called training, and was confident that a good weekend was coming up. Until I woke up sick. That was yesterday and since then no training apart from a couple of dips at the beach. Oh and a 20 minute jog which hardly counts as training rather as some sanity saving therapy. I think most athletes find time off pretty hard especially when the weather is perfect for that long ride or long run that your training partners are heading out on. Still, that should mean that I will enjoy it even more when I do get out. Lets hope a new week and a new healthy start tomorrow!!! I hope everyone else has had a more enjoyable training weekend.
